Abstract: The prerequisite of marker-assisted selection(MAS) is to find molecular markers or genes associated with those economic traits which are mostly controlled by a number of genes and inherited as quantitative traits. In this study,300 microsatellite markers were used to analyze the genotypes in the reference panel contained 92 individuals in a F2 family obtained by mating of F1 hybrids derived from crossing Barbless common carp(Cyprinus pellegrini) with Hebao?cold tolerance red common carp(Cyprinus carpio wuyuanensi),and four economic traits including standard length, body width, body depth and body weight were tested using GLM(General Linear Model) single marker of the regression. The determination of the threshold values by 10000 Permutation test showed that 23 markers had significant correlation(P 0.05) with the four traits,in which HLJ44,HLJE28,HLJ1148,HLJ1329,HLJ464,and HLJE469 had very significant correlation with the standard length, body width, body depth and body weight(P 0.01).In addition, the genotypes of these correlative loci captured were determined by Daucan's in SPSS13.0 software, and 75 segregation distorted microsatellites were detected whereas 11 segregation distorted microsatellites had correlation with the traits.Genotype deviate index describes the content of those genotypes deviation, the possibility of deviated genotypes linked with selection pressures and selection methods. These functional markers and genotypes related to the traits may be used for marker assisted selection and provided the efficient evidence of genetic mechanism on growth traits in common carp.
